WHAT IS INDIVIDUATION?
Individuation is the process by which an individual differentiates him/herself from that identity that was given by others (the family, the culture, the events), commonly known as ego.
​
This process is not new, and it is not only psychological or philosophical; it was at the core of the first schools that ever existed: the schools of Initiation and Mysticism. Their purpose was to lead the neophyte to recognize the patterns that conformed their automatic identifications and to go beyond them. Each school had their own methodology, but all of them responded to one main reason, one understanding, ONE truth: to transcend the limitations of the ego, and be free from it by creating the self.

EL's methodology in the workshop is an intellectual and experiential approach, so you become aware of how the subtle world within your own mind configurates the reality that you find in the phenomenal world.
This paradigm of awareness, in the ancient initiatic cultures, was commonly known as magic.

In today's world, magic has been relegated to a way of thinking that it seems to be far away from the scientific point of view, and subjected to a strong scrutiny from the cynical and deniers of a reality beyond what was taught by western society.

This division is creating a fragmented reality between those who believe naively in spirituality and mysticism and those who deny the invisible and believe in just what the system presents in front of them.
To understand the mechanics of magic and mysticism and integrate them with the modern materialistic and rational vision of the universe is essential for the integrity and protection of the person while going through the process of individuation.

Magic and initiation focuses in what's effective both for the materialization of desires and the growth of the practitioner. It works with the subtle, the invisible, the patterns. Beliefs and morality are just tools that you can use at your will. It connects you with the essence, it guides you to answer questions that you were born to answer, it is the bridge to understand and set the reason and purpose of why you are here, and it gives back to you the power and control of your life.
